Default Yamaha 48 Volt Charger Not Charging

Plugged in the charger and got the red "power" LED only.Normally the amber "charging" LED would be lit as well.Tried unplugging it for about an hour and still no change,Any ideas/advice.Thanks.
Yamaha 48 Volt charger P/N JW2-H2107-03.

Check to see what the pack voltage is. If it is too low the charger will not do a charge cycle.

Pack voltage is 47.2 according to my multimeter.

I had the same problem with a new set of batteries. Turned out the charging receptacle was dirty and loose. The dealer cleaned and tightened it and it's been charging fine since.

Check the Ac power outlet with a lamp or something. The leds on the MAC charger are powered by the cart batteries, not the wall outlet.

Thanks cgtech.I will inspect the receptacle.Is there a way to check the charger to confirm it is putting out voltage?

Also check for corrossion on the red (48 volt charger lead). 47.2 volts in the battery set and ac power, it should start charging. Has the DC cord ever been pulled out of the charger cord end strain relief?

RECEPTACLE!!! The plastic covering on one of the prongs was broken not allowing a full connection .Very relieved that I don't need a new charger.Does anyone have a part # for this receptacle?
