Default G14 36v new project

Hello and first off am new to the golf cart addiction. I recently purchased a 36v G14 that has a bad motor and batteries. When I removed the motor and cleaned it up a little I noticed it was a ergo motor hmm. Anyhow I tore it apart further and one of the leads has separated from the coil. So the question is is there anywhere to find a good used motor for this cart? Secondly when I was looking at the schematic it looks to have resistors on the motor leads mine did not have these. Should I go back with the resistors or are they not needed? I look forward to this project.

I don't know about these resistors. Do you have them? G14 is a solid state motor controller cart, not a resistor coil cart.

Well, if you had a Ezgo motor on there I am leaning towards your cart having the newer style Dana axle (with a black metal pan on the bottom). If this is the case, your going to be looking for any 36v Yamaha or Ezgo motor with 19 spline coupler. G14 & G16 were the only Yamahas that could possibly have the correct motor. Tons of Ezgo 36v carts had a motor that would be compatible for you (any 36v Txt that is not a DCS or PDS model).
