Default battery charger

2012 Yamaha Drive (G29) electric

I'm new to golf car and just acquired a used one....did some research this morning about setting it to "tow" or "run" mode when charging battery...turns out, people do it both ways

My question is when the batteries are fully charged, the charger turns off...how can you tell if the charger is off....will the red power light go off or just the green led goes on for the "CHARGED" indicator...

I have the same charger. Cgtech is correct, only the green LED is lit when charging is completed.

I have the same charger for my 2008 YDRE. Are those things supposed to get real hot?

The fan isn't even programmed to come on until some stupid-high temp is reached like 150°f. So yes.
