Default 2009 yamaha drive controller recommendation

I have a 2009 drive that the controller is bad. It's 48 volt lifted 23" tires rear seat and high speed motor. What controller would you recommend?

XCT48500YDRE controller. But the high speed motor is a poor choice for a lifted cart with big tires. If it's a modified OEM Hitachi motor, gonna be trouble. Also, I suggest never replacing a controller without removing & inspecting motor.

The story I got is the dealer put the motor in about a year ago. It is an advance motor from memory I think the part # was u5200 maybe. They said the controller lasted about a year after that. However your advise is appriciated and I will check the motor before I install a new controller.

OK got the new controller in. Dumb question of the day, with the fwd / rev switch turned / pushed to the right this should be forward correct? I ask because I think it is now backwards from what it was just cant remember.

It is not the Fwd/Rev switch that changed. Just switch field wires F1 and F2 at the controller and you should be good to go. At least I had to do that with the last three XCT installs on YDRE's.
