Default G22E Motor RPM

I have been reading the threads on programmable controller setting and was wondering what the G 22 E capabilities are.

i have the GE motor and it states 3540 RPM. Is this the max RPM for this motor? If not what does t his number mean? The tag does not list max safe RPM?

Thanks.

PS. I think it means I need a new bigger motor!

That thin can ge motor has served well, and when it goes, it won't be rebuild able. It has small brushes, so for upgrade use it can be a problem. It is good for 6k rpm tho.

Good to know! In your opinion how many amps do you think it can take without major issues?

400a MAX. Others may say different, but that's all I'm comfortable with for what I have seen with that motor. And that 400a max only applies to street carts without high speed gears, otherwise I think a different motor would be the best option.

Thanks.
My plan was to replace the motor in about a year or so. I can get the controller, etc, and use the stock gears for dirt roads. I just was not sure if it was worth it , if I could only work with 3500 RPM!

Thanks.

In stock cart configuration, that motor runs about 24 mph with Alltrax.
