2009 YDRE shorted speed sensor?
anyone else experience shorted speed sensor that acted like a failed controller (no click/selonoid or buckup buzzer)?
what are the negatives of running speed sensor unplugged other then no regen braking?as long as it wont hurt controller, think i will just run without it?thanks |

Re: 2009 YDRE shorted speed sensor?
I thought it was fine to run w/o speed sensor, other than loss of regen.

Re: 2009 YDRE shorted speed sensor?
Won't harm it. People have been doing it for years, thinking it speeds it up (I'm not buying). Will create weird nuisances that may or may not bother you (most people don't even notice, but I have been at this long enough I can identify it almost immediately). Disabling sensor will cause Regen to stop working, including the roll-away protection.
