Default Bought Spindle lift , not happy, now A-Arm ?

Thanks for all the help I have a 2017 Yamaha drive2 Electric, with a Jake's 3 inch spindle lift
At first I was not happy with the Yamaha ride it was too stiff. I removed the heavy duty rear coil springs and put back in the OEM Springs. I still wasn't happy so then another member suggested getting gas Springs the ones for the gas golf carts for the rear and it worked great.
I also had. Street legal D.O.T
tires on the cart 22 inch by 14 inch, which were also given it to stiff of a ride. I sold them and went with an all-terrain Timberwolf, by MadJax same size and the ride is a lot better.
My friend just bought the same year golf cart and installed a Mad Jacks 4" A- arm lift kit.
Same tires different rims and he does not get all of the wheel hopping up in the front like I do with the spindle lift kit.

I go down the road and a front of my cart pops up and down and shakes the steering wheel. At first I thought it was a bad tire out of balance with the last set of tires but now I have a different manufacturer on the same golf cart and get the same results.

So I'm willing to pull the whole entire lift kit out and sell it for like 150 bucks and by the A-arm if you guys think that would help.

I love everything about the car and I love to ride now that it has the gas shocks in the rear. But we still got a bad wheel hop out of the front.

A-arm is the way to go in my opinion,i have a 10 inch lift with motor cycle shocks on it for my fork lift ,it hauls alot of weight take it off and it still rides smooth

Wow that's a beast !

We don't off road, our community has 6' wide sidewalks, and we ride all over , out to lunch, Walmart, movies, etc all over the place on ours.

The Jakes Spindle lift also cut down my turning radius, which I'm not happy about.

The 4" Double A-Arm lift is a good size for us. We had a 6" lift on our CP, but didn't like how tall it put the cart

No guarantee's on what your ride will be like, or the real quality/engineering of the carts aftermarket A-frame's, but it should. All current suspensions seeking a good ride is based on independent wishbone suspension technology.

If you can add adjustable shocks to that suspension you'll increase your odds of tuning the ride to your likings. Drop spindles does nothing for the suspension ride quality. All they do is extend the current suspension upwards.

a 4" a-arm is a great height just enough for a on/off road tire for a good ride, i myself like the timber wolfs but they ride like a steamroller to me,we put them on a lot of carts we built,to wide for my taste for a road driver

Well, all the threads about "which lift kit should I buy" all say best ride will be found with jakes long travel, shoulda got that one. But I really think you have a tire/wheel problem. Jack the front up & spin the tires to see if they spin true. Also try swapping front to back.

Thanks guys I ordered the 4" Madjax Lift, I think that will get rid of my wheel hop, and not make the front so stiff. The back is perfect with the gas shocks now,

I'll sell the Jakes 3" lift once I remove it.
