G29 Transmission Movement
Hi, I'm working on a Yamaha G29 with an electric motor. A friend of mine asked me to replace some bearings and bushings in the electric motor. After removing the motor I decided to spin the transmission shaft just because you never know. When I changed directions it almost felt like I was picking up a set of gears, or pulling the slack out of a heavy chain. I've never been into one of these transmission so I'm not completely sure what to make of it. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I made a youtube video of the issue but it wont let me post a link due to the age of my account.

Re: G29 Transmission Movement
Does the transmission have a white serial number tag on it? They were known to go bad. But I would think the owner would have complained of it being noisy if it where bad.
