Default G29 died yesterday

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I jumped on my cart yesterday morning to run down to my brothers and about half way there the cart lost all power and died in the middle of the street. After towing it home and messing with the key switch, forward reverse and tow run this is what I have been able to come up with.

First, cart has brand new batteries (3 weeks old) and drive it daily with no issue up to this point. Have a volt meter on the cart and batteries are at 50.9v.
Cart is completely dead no movement when peddle is pushed, no click from solenoid or reverse buzzer when switched to reverse no nothing.

If I flip the tow run switch from run to tow to run with the forward/reverse switch in reverse I immediately get the reverse buzzer and solenoid click but as soon as I hit the peddle everything stops. solenoid click stops, reverse buzzer etc. If I flip the tow run switch it starts beeping again and the solenoid clicks.

I've check for loose connections and have found none.

Am I looking at a controller issue? Where should I start testing?
Cart is a 2008

thanks
fish

I'm currently going through the same issues. I found a thread yesterday and read through it. Sounds to be the same issues that I'm having. This guy finally eliminated his problems by replacing the solenoid. I can post the thread because I'm new to the forum. The topic is 2008 Yamaha YDRE sometimes will not restart.

I searched for that thread and didn't see it exactly.
Did you find the cause of your issue?

I replaced the batteries in my cart this past weekend and discovered this issue. I'm going to order a new solenoid this week and see if it resolves it.

I have the same issues and so far have not been successful in determining what the issue is. Frustrating.

Changing the solenoid seems to have fixed my problem. From what I gather, those are the "workhorses" of the electric carts. it was a $100 fix from golfcartgarage.com
