Brake "Pedal" Recommendation Needed
I recently installed the GTW UPGRADE KIT that includes LED Tail Lights, Head Lights, Turn Signals & Brake Lights. I have to have brake lights & turn signals to be street legal.
The brake lights function by attaching a rubber pad switch to the OG brake pedal that turns the brake light on when you step on it. Unfortunately within a few weeks that is already starting to fail and stays stuck on. Anyone find a better aftermarket brake pedal. |

Re: Brake "Pedal" Recommendation Needed
There is a brake light switch that goes under the floor and attaches to the pedal. It's about $70

That will only work if the lights turn off when key is off, or if timer relay is installed. Otherwise brake lights will be on whenever parked and park brake set.

I've searched with no luck but that is what I'm looking for. In the mean time I'm receiving a new brake pad from the manufacturer under warranty ... Hopefully this one lasts longer. |

Re: Brake "Pedal" Recommendation Needed
I have a "pad" switch and have used it for quite a while with no problem. I know that replacements are available on the internet as I nearly installed one before buying a ket!
