G29 rocker panels hit rear wheels after lift kit
Did a 6" A arm lift on a yamaha G29, put 10" rims and 22" knobby tires. Tried to reinstall rocker panels and found the rear tip of the rocker panels hit the rear wheels. Some people talk about trimming the rocker panel but it leaves an open edge instead of the finished look. Considered stainless or diamond plate replacement rockers. Any ideas for a good looking solution ?

Thanks for the reply. when you say roll the unfinished edge in, how did you do that? My plastic OE look like they wouldn't shape well with heat. Were you talking about the stainless ones?

Re: G29 rocker panels hit rear wheels after lift kit
I just cut mine and left the edge as is.
I have two g29s, one has 23s and needs more room. |
