Default Derek's Yamaha G29 Build

I bought a 2014 Yamaha Drive G29 from a golf course lease wholesaler about a year ago and my wife and kids have had a blast using it around our property and on camping trips. We have 3 girls ages 3 and under so she wanted me to install a rear seat to have a little more room so I took that opportunity to upgrade more than just that!

I have everything ordered for phase 1 which includes the following:

Alltrax XCT 500 controller
Admiral MOT-D2 motor
400 amp solenoid
2g battery cables
Veego 30 amp 12v reducer
Jake's Long Travel lift kit
Jake's HD rear coil springs
Summit Performance 2.5" wheel spacers
14x7 SS Voyager wheels
25x10-14 GTW Barrage tires
Jake's Disc Brakes
Madjax Genesis 250 rear seat
Madjax tinted windshield

Phase 2 will be the Madjax Havok full body & light kit when they release it in April along with an extended roof.

I still need to decide what kind of audio I want either headunit and built in speakers or a sound bar.

I have been lurking on this forum for about a year since I bought the cart and I have learned a lot and gotten some good ideas from here so thank you to everyone for that.

This is how it looks today pre-tear down.

Haha golf cart parts are pricey! We've been saving up for it and I sold a few other toys to fund this. My wife and girls use the golf cart daily where some of the other toys got used once every couple months so figured I'd make it nice for them!

That is a nice cart and a nice list of upgrades. I can't wait to see and hear how it turns out

Thank You! The motor was delivered yesterday and I think some more of your stuff is showing up today.

Scotty with cartsunlimited.net was great to deal with! He emailed me back and forth for over a month answering my questions and helping me decide what parts would work good together to get this cart moving!

Well I got the cart all stripped down and found a little more rust on the frame than I was expecting so I decided to go ahead and take it all the way down to bare frame. I cleaned everything up and got the frame primed today. I thought about trying to get it powder coated but I have to have this thing back together by Feb. 8 for a Mardi Gras camping trip the wife has planned.
