I want a better ride
My parents bought a Yamaha golf cart to drive around our campground. They got one that has the back seat so that we can drive guest around and show them campsites they might be interested in.
Anyways it rides like crap, even with 4 people on the back it is still a very stiff ride and you bounce around a lot. (My EZ-GO TXT with the factory leaf springs has a better ride quality.) I'm not sure where the model is on the Yamaha golf carts, but it has a 48 volt AC motor and a factory installed lift and larger tires on it. Tires are Vision VX golf 21x10.5-12 Does anyone make a softer rate coil spring for these carts? |

Re: I want a better ride
Need more info, what year and model info will be required to suggest any options. Kinda like asking "I need new suspension parts", -"for what?" , "Yeah, it's a Yamaha".

Re: I want a better ride
I haven't found anything either yet. They only thing I can think of doing is replace the rear coil springs with front ones. The wire diameter of the front coil springs look smaller than the rear springs wire diameter. Not sure if that will actually work yet, I'll need to take some measurements first.

Re: I want a better ride
Shoot PingEye3 a PM. He’s been using stock gas rear shocks on Yamaha carts that he’s done lithium conversions on with good results.
