Default Is there a cheap way to pull a trailer with G29

I want to make/install a trailer hitch on my G29 (drive) for occasional towing. I see a bunch of expensive options. Is there a cheap way? How much weight can a stock cart pull?

The cheap way is to make something yourself but it could possibly not be safe unless you are good at welding.

As for weight, I have heard of electric carts being hooked up in a train to return them to the clubhouse, so weight isn't an issue unless you are trying to go super heavy or unless your load is not on wheels I.e. skids or your trailer tire is flat

Thank you for your info. I would like any recommendations for hitches. the range of those I found with google are very extreme from $40.00 to $150.00 or so!

Just how much trailer? Might end up hurting the cart even with a good hitch. This cart isn't an old "series" cart built to be a slow & steady "tree stump". It is more "refined, integrated, error-proof" (= faster, not tougher) , not like the old "anvils".

I do not even have a trailer as of now. I was thinking of getting one that dumps to move some gravel within my yard. I was not sure about the Yamaha capability. Mie is a 2010.

I would limit the weight of the trailer if the motor and controller are stock. The stock controller is too small for a HD motor, and the stock motor is not gonna live long with a bigger controller when used as a "work truck".
