Default Ezgo rxv electric 48 volt

I am working on a 2008 electric rxv. The batteries are in excellent condition I have 49.4 volts. When I turn the key on in reverse, neutral or forward the reverse buzzer beeps. I can't disengage the electric brake either. Any ideas?

The voltage is fine. It is a 48 volt system. It might need a charge.

A 48 V system should rest at least 52 V. 48 or 49 V is considered about as low as you would ever want to go.

regardless of the voltage the cart should run. Do you have any help or or do you like to nit-pick about something that is not related to my problem?

have you checked to see if you have negative voltage to the solenoid? I had a ezgo 48v rxv that stopped running. buzzers worked and batteries had 54v across the pack. As I was on the phone with a tech support they had me check the negative ( black ) wire small post on solenoid to see if I had voltage there. I was told you should get at least 48 volts on the negative wire if controller is good. That would tell you if you have a controller issue. Hope this helps you.

Thanks, I will check the solenoid. I appreciate the the information. I can see why Ezgo stopped building the RXV

This guy posts in the Yamaha section, about "yamaha" Rxv's, tells us we are all wrong. Then tells us they stopped making RXVs !? Classic! Yep, they still make those, and he should just step away from them! Some jokes just write themselves!

Ezgo (Rxv), and Yamaha factory certified.. have nice day...

Try posting in the Ezgo electric section, or not.
