Default Cart is DOA

Just pulled out of driveway and cart died. I️ heard a pop like a blown fuse but can’t find a fuse.
2009 Drive with new batteries
Reverse buzzer worked and solenoid clicked when gas pedal is pressed or cart is rocked.

Not sure what happened. Thanks for any help

There is another post like yours where the throttle stop switch was the issue.

Few things pop when they fail in a golf cart.
The fatal pop is usually the speed controller failure.

Reverse buzzer & solenoid "worked"? Do they still work? Most bad moric controller no longer activates solenoid at all.

Yes both work. I saw on another post someone was having very similar issues and it was the throttle stop switch. When u press accelerator pin comes out stop switch and solenoid clicks. I ordered a stop switch yesterday. i ordered the switch that is kind of behind brake pedal but attached to accelerator. There is also a switch that is connected directly to bottom of accelerator, but I can’t find it online to replace also. Trojan batteries are 2 months old. Thank u for help

Replacing stop switch didn’t fix my problem. Any ideas?

Remember the pop. Stop does not pop when it fails.
It may seem funny but, put your nose on the controller, does it smell burnt?

Did it happen right after installing new batteries? Have you checked them closely?

Cart has run perfect for 2 months with new batteries.
Controller doesn’t smell burnt. I unplugged controller and plugged it back in and got a “beep” from buzzer.

Any chance it’s the Throttle Sensor?
