2008 YDRE Battery Question
Did the 2008 YDRE originally come with 6 8V batteries or 4 12V batteries?
I have read that 6 batteries are more efficient than 8. If that's the case then I would like to swap to the 6 battery model. What would be required to change over to the 6 battery model? Thanks |

Re: 2008 YDRE Battery Question
The experts will be along soon, but all ydre's I have seen prior to 2010 have a 4 12V setup. You will get more distance out of a charge with 6 8v setup, and from what i recall the only requirement is a few mods to your battery tray.

Definitely 4 12v for a 2008 originally.

Re: 2008 YDRE Battery Question
Search YDRE 8v conversion, its really easy, only requiring 8v batteries, new cables to connect the batteries, and some hardware store supplies to make brackets to keep the middle batteries in place
