Madjax vs GTW Rear Seat
Looking at getting a new rear seat for a 2013 Yamaha.
How does the GTW compare to the Madjax? Does anyone have a preference and why? I have the Madjax on my 2009 and no problems. Just wondering. Thanks |

Re: Madjax vs GTW Rear Seat
I really like Steeleng seats myself. The GTW kits are well made and the instructions are good, but the cushions are usually hard.

Re: Madjax vs GTW Rear Seat
I never really cared much for the madjax rear seat bench because they were too narrow compared to other brands.

I should've said the MadJax rear bench is too shallow and not as deep as other's I've used. My All Sports rear bench is plenty deep and I like it a lot. Not sure on the measurements but I can measure later if you need. |

I knew what you meant, and I agree the Madjax is kind of shallow.

Re: Madjax vs GTW Rear Seat
Not familiar with those two. Recently installed the Modz rear flip seat on my G16. Got the one w the diamond plate when it’s flipped. Quality is solid. I like the built in seatbelt mounts (have kids) and design of the foot rest and ability to add the grab bar and tow hitch easily. Priced reasonable. Paper installation instructions terrible but plenty of videos out there. No squeaks. Support from company after UPS damaged a package was great, immediate replacement.

Re: Madjax vs GTW Rear Seat
I also just installed a Modz seat. The quality is very nice and the cushions are nice too. Sorry I don’t have a better picture.

Somebody offers a G2/G9 seat kit! I didn't know they still existed. A testament to the durability of those models, they are still out there. It was one of their best.
