Default G3 Sun Classic - Installing PB-6 & Curtis 1205 - Where Does Microswitch Get Connected

So I am converting over a G3 Sun Classic (electric) to 48v, replacing an already existing (fried) Curtis controller (due to the prior owner wiring without a solenoid) with a new Curtis 1205 a friend provided to me. I also bought a new Curtis PB-6 throttle box that I am about to get installed.

The PB-6 has a 2 wire (in grey sleeve) connection already coming off of it; which I know according to the Curtis manual gets connected to throttle inputs 2 & 3 on the Curtis controller.

My G3 (originally electric) had a throttle wiper board with a micro switch on it. The microswitch was connected originally to a push-in pull-out knob in the drivers area near the ashtray; like an on/off switch (which totally appears original equipment - see photos). I'm honestly not even sure what the knob originally did? I'm assuming it was an on/off connection for the throttle but anyone that can chime in here I would appreciate it.

Which of the 3 microswitch connections on my new PB-6 get connected; and to where would should they get connected to? What function does the PB-6 microswitch actually carry? I'm assuming that it acts as an on off switch once the throttle springs back to zero; however I'm at a bit of a blank here? Assuming that the main 2-wire cable from the PB-6 gets connected to inputs 2 & 3; I wasn't sure where these 3 microswitch connections should get made to? BTW I am still keeping the same keyswitch F&R configuration; using new 48v solenoids in the original Yamaha configuration - at least that's the plan. Thanks in advance :)

So sorry I never got notified that I had messages....still trying to figure out how to be alerted to PM's via my email inbox so I don't have to think about checking on them.

So what is the primary purpose of the PB-6 microswitch? What does it do? I'm trying to figure out which connections on it I need to make and to where those connections should go to (ie. controller etc.?)

I already replied in my thread, but questions about your cart should stay here. Here’s my reply:

The microswitch tells the solenoid when to close. If it has three terminals, it’s because it can work as normally open and normally closed. You want the normally open application.

One wire goes to the solenoid small terminal and the other goes to the previous switch in the activation circuit (FNR switch in my case.)

So if I'm going with main solenoid and the 2 reversing contractors solenoids, which solenoid would you guess that it should connect to then?

Definitely the main solenoid. Do you have a G1-E wiring diagram? Or any diagrams?

Perfect thanks.. Not sure about the previous activation switch location since mine has the original connections, any good guesses? I need a copy of a clearer G1-E diagram if you have one that would be great...

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Luke previously mentioned that from the PB-6; "One wire goes to the main solenoid small terminal and the other goes to the previous switch in the activation circuit (FNR switch in my case.)"

If I'm using reversing contactors, can anyone venture a good guess as to what wire I might connect as my switch in the activation circuit to the PB-6? I have a forward solenoid with a yellow and a black wire; and I have a reverse solenoid with a blue and a black wire. Both forward & reverse are controlled by my key in the steering column.

Thanks in advance...I'm truly stumped on this one :)
