Yamaha 48v Charger with US12VXC2 Batteries
I have searched this forum high and low and can't find anything that talks about how the US Batteries do with the 48v yamaha charger. I have read the US Batteries require a higher finish charge, is the yamaha charger able to provide that like the DPI one can? If not, how much damage is it truly doing to the battery as the price difference in my area really has me leaning towards US over Trojan T-1275.
My setup is 4x12v (not doing 6x8v so don't suggest). I have included pics below of the two products I am talking about. |

Re: Yamaha 48v Charger with US12VXC2 Batteries
No mode selection in that charger as far as I know. But that charger is quite fond of it's equalization charge cycles. The damage of them not always reaching 100% will shorten the life of the batteries, because the lower charge ceiling will become the new 100%.
