2 wire voltage reducer?

Hey guys back again. I have a 2 wire voltage reducer on my g19 after looking online I cant find anything like it one side has a ring terminal connected to the positive side of the battery closest to the motor the other side is connected to a terminal bar. If I ground my dvom on the terminal bar and connect the positive lead to various battery terminals I get varying voltages. Closest I can get to 12 volts without going under is around 13.5 volts. I dont see any issue with my 12 volt accessories running at 13.5 the alternator on most cars puts out 14 volts or so. I'm just wondering if there will be any additional wear on my battery pack? Is there some reason I cant find info on these? Thanks

You did not say where the terminal block is connected. However, it must beto the end of the 48 volt pack or you would not be getting the voltages you described!

I do not know hat you want to connect in adition to what you apparently have on it now. Make sure you are not exceeding the capacity of the reducer that you have.

I accidentally posted this twice oops. It's not connected to anything. The lights are powered by b+ of the battery pack and grounded through the reducer

Typically the 2 wire reducer was an 18 to 12v reducer. It was used where 12v was needed where 6/8v provided 8 or 16v.
13.5v is okay for all 12v devices.

CC used these devices for many years as a cheap way to run 12v lights.
The downside is that the accessory power is still drawn from just 2 batteries and after a little use those 2 batteries will be lower than the other 4 in voltage... then the problem, when the pack recharges all the batteries get the same charge. Now an imbalance has begun which will lead to early demise of the whole pack.
