Default Looking for a good g2 secondary clutch setting for 22s and slow offroading

Any suggestions on a good setting for the secondary clutch on a g2 gas? I plan on doing a lot of slow offroading, and right now it tends to stall a bit, and I get some belt slip when trying to power up small sized obstacles. I'd like to get a bit more rpm before it takes off, and hopefully eliminate some of the belt slip.

I've done some reading, and I think the stock setting is b4?

Stock was B4. Settings with more twist would shift out a little later (higher rpm), but a much better solution would be a better spring. The stock spring could very likely be 30+ years old, and they do get lazy when worn out. Don't go for the generic white ultra heavy duty spring you might find all over the internet, it's too stiff in my opinion. Both Plowmans and Gboost can set you up with a spring more specifically tailored to your needs based on the actual cart you are building.

I used to suggest the Yamaha UMAX (utility cart) spring for most all HD applications, but they jacked the price so insanely high, I don't even use them any more.

I just noticed I posted this in the electric forum, if a mod can move it to gas, I would appreciate it.

cgtech, the ramps aren't perfect, but they arent terrible either. The guy owned the cart for 20 years at a golf course. Everything is pretty nice and well maintained. I got pretty lucky with the buy. I'm going to try an reclock it tomorrow and see if I like it, otherwise I might talk with plowmans. They seem to have a solid setup
