Default 48v charger

Noticed my charger seemed to be running longer than normal. The 48v pack was reading 63v,and charger was at 5 amp.I unplugged it and it dropped 54.9 and ended up at 50.7 after 12hrs
Readings
9.1 9.0 9.0 8.9 9.0 9.0 (54.9)
After 12hrs
8.45 8.52 8.52 8.47 8.42 8.47 (50.7)

Should I just let it keep running til it shuts off on its own?

The last stage of charging is designed to balance the pack. It should hold there at a somewhat high voltage for a few hours. If the pack is reaching a few years of age, it may take longer for the voltage to rise during the bulk charge and absorption phases, which will mean it takes longer overall to charge. Charge time is also very dependent on usage. If average usage has increased lately, even by only 15-20 minutes, that may add an hour or more to the overall charge time.
