Default Yamaha Rattling noise.

Hello Everyone,

I have a 2012 Yamaha G29 48v that will Rattle/click when you come off accelerator and "coast". No noise when foot is on the pedal at any speed. Any ideas? **Rattling coming from the rear end/motor area.

Thank you!

Rome

Could be motor coupler/bumper (the cheap fix), could be gear problem in the axle (not cheap).

Do you know where I can order one? Can't seem to find one online. Only thing coming up is EZGO.

Thanks again.

I had a similar noise in the rear end of my 09 G29.. Found torquing the axle nuts to 75ft pounds fixed the annoying sound.

Didn't even think of that.... Those do come loose pretty often.

Thanks for the suggestion! Which Axel nuts are you referring to?

Axle nuts are in the center of the 4 lug nuts that hold the wheel on.
