Default G8E charging receptacle/wiring

Going through everything in this cart and found a wire (red) coming off the charging receptacle not connected to anything. Anybody know these well? The wiring diagram didn’t help me much.

If that circuit isn't bypassed somewhere else, it will keep the cart from running. That's the "the charger is plugged in, so you can't drive it" wire. Little white button in the charge port interrupts that wire when the charger handle presses it.

Ah. Well the cart runs and it will move under its own power while charging. I don’t see any loose wires anywhere that should be connected. Where should it run to?

That means it's bypassed, probably because the white button is non functional. I wouldn't worry.

Is my positive charge wire from the receptacle supposed to go to the solenoid or directly to the positive battery terminal?

Probably went to the solenoid from the factory, I know several did.
