2004 Yamaha g22 not working
So this cart is my neighbor’s and I’m stumped. I’ll list everything I checked today and hopefully you guys can lead me to the answer.
1. Replaced the solenoid. One of the old terminals was weird so he replaced it. 50+volts on the small terminals when key on and run mode. 2. Accelerator pot goes from 150ohm to 5k ohms 3. Key switch tested good 4. Accelerator stop switch replaced and tested good. 5. Batteries at 50+volts 6. Forward and reverse switch tested good and working. 7. Sometimes the reverse alarm stays on until tow/run switched to Tow. I’ve read that the accelerator potentiometer should go to zero, is it ok the lowest is at 150ish ohms? Is I have no voltage on the large posts of the solenoid, even after I hear the click when switching from tow to run. What else can I test before getting a new controller? Do you guys think that the controller is bad? Thank you for your help, Joel Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: 2004 Yamaha g22 not working
Solenoid always clicks when tow/run switched on?
150ohm is likely still within the controllers limits. Clip one meter lead to controller B-, other to battery pack side of solenoid, should read about 50v, then clip to controller side of solenoid large terminal. |
