Serial number questions
I’ve done enough research to know that I have the Yamaha drive 1 it’s an 09 YDRE. The serial no. Is the standard JW2 for an electric but the rest is F4236-30 and I don’t know what any of that means. I have some other questions about the cart I’ll be starting threads about but wanted to know what anyone could tell me about the rest of this number to see if it helps.

Re: Serial number questions
Its not the serial but a part number. Most likely of 1 off the safety stickers. Your serial will start with JW followed by 7 numbers. For example: JW2-304507.
It can be found on the chassis underneath the driver seat and it has a barcode on the sticker. Good luck. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/top...ink_source=app On this other topic I've attached a serial number list with year and model. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G973F met Tapatalk |

Oh. Thank you. That’s the first sticker I found under the seat so I was assuming that was it. I’ve attached the picture. Maybe it’s the part number for the body as it’s stuck to the lip the seat rests on. |

Re: Serial number questions
I posted from my iPhone. I figured it might not work. I’ll have to try and look into getting it switched to a jpeg or something. No biggie though. Thanks for your help!

Re: Serial number questions
You got the info you need? Yamaha doesn't really put info into their serial numbers like clubcar.

Re: Serial number questions
Yes sir. I’m pretty new to this and didn’t realize the part numbers have the JW2 as well. I just saw some stuff online where the serial number had JW2 and decided in my head that was mine. Given the placement of the sticker on the lip where the seat rests I’m assuming it’s just the part number for the body. Thanks again for the info!

Re: Serial number questions
If you follow the roof drains down under the seat, you will find the serial number on one of the frame posts right next to the drain tubes.
