how long do i charge?

i have a 36v system how long should i let it charge?
bats are dead first time charging them.

sorry guys
its a 89 yamaha G2 I believe. The charger is a lestronic 2. I think its automatic because it doesnt have a timer on it? So in that case I guess it will go off when it's done? Not sure of what the voltage was when starting

YEP, no timer it is automatic....... Will turn off IF the batteries take a charge and come up to the preset level programed into the charger.....Could take 8 hrs? I would be suspect if it takes much more than 10 ...... 5-6 is average
