moisture on battery tops
My neighbor has his 2003 cart here. Always seems to have moisture on top of the batteries. They're not over-full. Doesn't seem to matter the circumstances... they're always a bit wet. Wipe 'em off and next day, wet again. WHY? seems to just seep from the top somewhere. can't really tell where. Any thoughts?

Re: moisture on battery tops
If it appears after charging or driving they could be overfull....proper water level is 1/4 inch above the lead plates.

Re: moisture on battery tops
Do you have "individual" cell caps or "gang" caps? Many times on "gang" caps they don't get pushed far enough down to seal or the sealing is just bad. Scottyb told you the truth! only 1/4 inch over the lead plates. Good luck Dave
