Default EZ-GO rear axle in place of Yamaha

I have a Yamaha G14e that has shot bearings, and a lot of slop in the rear axle and/or transaxle.
How hard to replace the whole axle with a good EZ-GO axle that has the same Spicer/Dana transaxle? (motor fits)
The EZ-GO seems to have the motor orientation reversed from Yamaha.

Thats because SOME of them share the same spline count, shaft size and bolt pattern...same motor, different numbers.

If you can do even basic fab work you can make any rear axle fit.
