Default Re: control check

That is a tough question....I'm sure that others on here will have a better answer but, I basically eliminate all the other possibilities....double check and clean all wires...(sometimes you can have all the voltage you think you need, but it still won't run the cart if you have dirty/coroded connections). Even if the solenoid clicks...give it a tap to see if it will engage....sometimes it sticks...I sometimes will change the solenoid, even I think it should still be good. Just basically check ALL connections and eliminate all possibilities, before spending the cash. Some of the newer carts have the ability of hooking them to a computer to check, but from what my local techs tell me, that is not definitive either. If you can get your hands on another controller from another cart you could try swapping them too. Don't forget to check and make sure the potentiometer is okay (under the floor board) in a box....if it is that kind of cart.
