Old Yamaha 36 volt
The problem is when the guy got it it would kick the charger off and on a wire on the solenoid was messed up he fixed that now it is like a snail up hill flat ground is fine. yes new batterys was tried no help. this is the first electric cart I,ve tried to fix so am illiterate. I will find out what model it is .

Sounds like typical weak battery complaints. Post voltage readings for each battery and check specific gravity in each cell with a hydrometer. You will likely find at least one weak one ....typically

good batterys where tried out of another cart so I don't think battery is the problem. I'll have to run and get the model and all Thanks quick reply's and the help
