yamaha g22e rear end groweling noise
My 2008 G22e "drive" is making a rear end noise, sounds like a growling or bucket of rocks" when I let off the accelerator pedal. It does NOT make any noises when under any kind of load. Any ideas what this could be?

Re: yamaha g22e rear end groweling noise
Welcome Tomcart! If your cart is a 2008 and is a "the drive" it would be a G29E. Now if yours is making a growling/grinding noise, Just take it to any Yamaha golf cart dealer. Your entire transaxle assy will be replaced under warranty.

What if it not under warranty like on a 98G19? Thought would be helpful. Thanks

Re: yamaha g22e rear end groweling noise
Barry, why don't you start a thread about your G19 and the problems your haveing. It would probably help the G19/G22 owners more then "The Drive" like Tomcart has. I'd be happy to post if I can help.
