Default Cart won't charge

My cart was not opreated for 6 months. I tried to charge it but the indicator on the charger would not light up. I checked the batteries and there was no H2O in the cells. I added distilled H2O and tried to charge again but no indicator light came on from the charger. Any suggestions?

you need to charge them up individually , the charger will not kick in untill you have 30v or so over the whole pack.

you need to charge them with the correct voltage. if they are 6v you can charge two of them together with a 12v charger.

There are 6 batteries. They don't say what voltage they are. Any idea what their individual voltage is? I use a 48 volt charger to charge the cart (perhaps each one is 8v ???). It's a 2004, model G22E, Yamaha

If I charge two of them together with a 12v charger; and do that for all 6, can I get enough of a charge over the pack for the regular charger to kick in?

I do too
You can buy a voltmeter and check them? Take them to a golf cart shop? Have a Mobil GC Tech come to you? SOme way of checking. But leaving wet cel batteries in a state of discharge for extended periods of time will kill them.
