Default Tone down speed

The Police Dept here just bought a 2007 Yam ele cart for parades and going to be used some by the regular patrol guys from time to time, we had a Jakes 6 inch lift done, back seat, 22 on tires, It has new 2010 Trojons in it 48 volt the question is can it be DE-TUNED so its not so QUICK, one person on the back and one in the front the front end will come up off the ground, so I'm sure some of our young officers are going to "test it", with one person in it the right front wheel will come up on take off. Its striped like our cars it turned out nice thanks. VINCE

Funny this post came up. We built a rear facing car for an apartment complex ( a gas "The Drive" though) and had the simular problems. Yes you could set the computer for a high setting of regen, but it would just go slow (would have no real effect on quickness In my opinion. We had the front tires filled with heavy foam (or what ever it's called) they are almost to heavy to lift to install now, but like 125.00 a tire helped alot. Then we went to a Kabouta dealer and they gave us a used "weight" for a tractor, we mounted it onto the front frame. The customer was happy with the fix. Good luck with your problem.

Might have issues stopping too.

Maybe just trade carts with most any of the members here. This request is the first I've ever heard anyone ask it.

Thanks for the replys, I wonder if we changed the lift to a 4 and got alittle shorted tire, we just need alittle clearence for driving over curves, that cart lead the childrens parade last night, I was in a Jeep go cart with my daughter that I restored its painted similar to our cars, but as it goes the lights on the roll bar did not work properly when it came time to start, They Worked Monday! when I got it out and Cleaned it up but thats Par for the course I guess. if you see them lifting the wheels again, just give them a ticket for "unsafe start" or something stupid like that

V, a shorter tire will spin faster and not help the problem. Actually a larger dia. tire would be what you wanted.
I dont think the lift is the problem here. I do like the idea throwing more weight in the front. There is room up under the cowl, or of course water in the front tires
