Default Electric Yamaha Cart Won't Run

We have a yamaha electric powered golf cart at work that stopped working. The only information I could find was on the electric motor, and it says, yamaha, DC motor, V36, 3300 rpm, time rating 30 min, part # JH7-H1890-1Q, date code NKN. When you turn the key on and press the accelerator pedal it just makes a single click noise. If you put it in reverse, the buzzer sounds, but still only clicks. The charger seems to be working fine, and the batteries seem to be taking a charge. Is there some sort of switch or solenoid that could be causing this? The cart was working great the last time I used it, but alot of others use it and I'm not sure what happened when it broke, if someone was driving it and it suddenly stopped, or if it just wouldn't go when someone went to use it. Any ideas as to what to check or replace to get it working again? Thanks

Found a broken wire that ran from the motor to the fow/rev. switch. I will replace tomorrow, and that should take care of it.

I'm glad you found it and sorry you didn't find any more help than... well, none? Check all your cable ends for corrosion, give them the tug and twist test to check for fatigue .... Make sure all connections are reasonably tight and clean. Thanks for letting us know what caused your cart to suddenly stop.
