Default G-19 Yamaha 96 charger doesnt work

Hoping you can help us? Have a 96 48v golf cart w/charger. charger was checked out and deemed operational. had some bad batteries and replaced them. I am getting 48volts min. charged them 2 at a time w/ a 12 v charger. The charger lights in succession and then the incomplete light comes on. Have checked the main plug, er wiggled it etc like a past post suggested. Put the buggie on tow and waited 5 min. to reset the OBC (does it reset it?) Anyway, been trying to fix this problem on and off for months. Any help would be appreciated. Also planning on re-cleaning and tightening the battery post again. Maybe I miss something?

No OBC on a Yamaha G19, so maybe that could be the problem.?

Have you checked the batteries latley? What the battery voltages?

oh, well my brother in law is working on it not me! lol have 48 volts. He borrowed a 12v charger and has been charging them up in pairs. we have had to buy several batteries. The charger was checked a few mos ago and the guy said the circuit breaker thing was broken and he disabled it and re wired it so it would work. The cart runs fine, but we can't use the yamaha charger that came with the cart. Does the cycling of the lights mean anything? Like a code? They flash in unison 3 times and then the charger goes to incomplete.
Thank you for your reply! Any help is appreciated! Not of us know anything about electric carts!

Dont let the brother in law look at the cart ever again, even chargring up 2 batteries at a time with a 12 volt charger really is not gonna do any good, as he would be trying to charge up 16 volts with a 12 volt charger. Problem could be the brother in law.

Get the batteries properly checked ( NOT by the brother in law) get someone who knows about batteries and what to look for. Problem more than likely is there.
