Re: Golf Cart Electric Motor Wanted
I'm not a sparkie guy, but if you can spend $300 you could get this. http://www.plumquick.com/get-plum-quick/the-bandit/
Didn't realize you have to send them a good motor for upgrades. Core charge is $100 if you don't have a repairable motor. |

Call them! They have motors in stock and can fit one to your application. Great folks, ask for Robbie!

If they don't call back, you call them again. Things get pretty hectic around there! Ask for Robbie.

They only improve working motors. They don't repair them. Is there any other place?

Re: Golf Cart Electric Motor Wanted
PQ can rebuild your existing motor unless the case is cracked or the armature is torn up. What is wrong with your existing motor?

Re: Golf Cart Electric Motor Wanted
I talked to them they said if my motor is fried they cant rebuild my fried motor.I cant get another motor from them because they do not have a core. Here's my previous thread this will tell you everything. By the way the golf cart is a G22 NOT A G19
I made a mistake in my previous thread. I've been having a problem with my yamaha electric golf cart for months first it would run and slow down and sometimes I would be able to floor it and it would buck and get up to speed and it would stop so when it would would randomly stop I would flip the tow/run switch up and down and put it back on run and it would run fine for a while. Then it would only run in reverse if I flipped the tow switch up and down.then it would just click and not move.we replaced the controller with a general electric control that works with G19s.The solenoid tests good. But now you have to flip the tow switch up and down in a sequence for it to click if I don't flip it up and down and put it back on tow at the right time it wont click. It will click once if I do it right. One month back when it would suddenly die the BRAND NEW Batteries died and it came to a dead stop but when we towed it we did not flip the switch on tow,we had it on run when towing.Every terminal on the solenoid tests 50 volts when you turn the key on or off or push the gas it wont decrease or increase. When the switch is on Tow it drops down to 2 volts.PLEEEEEEAAAASSSEEEE Help Ive been dealing with this since the beginning if august. We also replaced the accelerator stop switch. as I have said before New Batteries, Solenoid is good, new General electric controller comparable with my G19,We also replaced the accelerator stop switch. Please help me I need to be able to get around my farm.just anyone help me the best you can. My Last guess is bad Motor. What do you think. |

Re: Golf Cart Electric Motor Wanted
Yep! ... we can't find a good PDS core and PQ has none because Sepex motors die from heat related issues that result in making them not good usable cores. You may have to buy NEW.
