Batteries that have been "conditioned" means absolutely nothing to me. Batteries that are NEW, I understand completely. That being said, offer him $1400 and be prepared to spend $700 in the near future. Explain to the guy you are deducting 50% of the cost of a new pack from his asking price. In essence you are both sharing the cost of that new pack. My .02

Looks like a nice cart. Gman's leading you in the right path. "Conditioned" doesn't sound good to me. Have a dealer load test them. There was no factory high speed rear, but if it had high speed gears installed, and the head/tail/turnsignal set up, sounds like a good deal, even if you need to buy batteries. Just my 2 cents worth.

Double check the year! The roof and front emblem is from a 2002 and older yamaha!

The serial numbers can be found running vertically just under the glove box on the far left of the driver's side of the vehicle.
G-22E 2003 and newer start with JU2-xxxxxx
G-19E 1996 thru 2002 start with JR1-xxxxxx

Both are 48 volts. The G-22 has all the batteries running in a line, the g-19 will the 2 middle batteries running opposite of the outside batteries.

Not a bad price if batteries are good.

If it runs and you're happy- go for it!!! While price is important it is also negotiable. Work 'til you're both happy. Save your money for new battery pack!!
