Default dead 93 electric yamaha help please

This is my dads cart, he's 80 and loves the **** thing, drives it down to the lake to fish. I spend my time/money on race cars. LOL... Long story short I'm a consumer electronics technician and Dad thinks I can fix anything, well...I dont know about that but I looked at his cart, spent a little time checking obvious things and found nothing. Cant find a printable/ readable schematic for the wiring and I'm lost without it. Fuses are good, batteries good & charge well but wont move. I figure you guys are pros and probably know the cart like I know a chevy big block so any help would be appreciated and I promise to report my findings. Its a 93 G8. Thanks in advance

Nova, Wish I was there to get your dad's car running. The first thing I would do ....On the charger receptical is a "white" "push" button. It is a "charge lock"...meaning the car wont run if the charger is "plugged in". I would like you to spray WD40 into the receptical and "push" the white button "ALOT". I'm hoping it is stuck and not alowing current to flow to the systems. There are so many things.....try the easiest first. Good luck Keep us posted. I would hate to think...your dad can't go fishing! Dave PS- look in this forum..There is a G8 wiring diagram.

Thanks for the help guys, got it back on the road......the problem was the switch under the gas petal, it read open connection , jumped it out and worked. I'll order one for him tomorrow morning. Thanks again! If you need any help with your home electronics..www.nothinbutsparks.com is my website, I will return the favor, just ask.

Hi Guys,I'm new here .I have a 02 yamaha 48volt.It sits in the garage in the summer.I have a frend go there once a month and put a charge on it but he was ill and couldn't go.The charger won't start and from reading the batteries are to low.I have a trickle charger .I think it's 12 volt. How can I charge them enough to get the cart charger to kick on/I thought maybe 2 at a time but that will be 16 volts. Will it still charge enough?Any help would be appreciated. Tony
