Default what is this box????

I have a 1995 yamaha g14 36volt cart and there is a box infront of the batteries. There are several wires going to this box, one of which is the throttle sensor wire. Just wondering what this box is called and what it does...

That is your controller. The controller takes "info" from the wireharness/key switch/stop switch/forward-revese cut off switch's/activate the solenoid and the throttle sensor to give the motor the voltage (from the batteries) to run at the speed the accelerator pedal is pushed to. Hope that helped explain alittle.

Sorry to "sidetrac" your thread Thadf, Wilson's build is in the "on road carts" section, under "G8 Build". It's long, so sit back and injoy the build and "banter"....if you can stand it
