Thanks In Advance YDRE JW2-F4236-01 Also, what would need to be done to convert to 6 eight volt batteries. It looks like enough room under the seat but, need your input. |

We need to know what drive system you have, like; resistor coil or solid state speed control.... but yes it can be converted to 48v if done properly.

Where did you get that number? According to what I can find that is not a good serial number. Post a pic and we'll tell you where to look for a good number.

Got the number from under the seat on drivers side. Solid state speed control. Supposedly an 07.
Where is the best place to get the numbers off the cart to see what the kart is. It says on the sticker under the seat where I got the other info that it was manufactured in 06. Thanks for your help |

Yes it does have 4 12's and was wanting to know what cart model it is. I looked in the Yamaha info posted and could not find anything new than 04. Let me know what I have and when ordering parts it would be helpful to know what I have.
Thanks |

Basically you just need to change batteries, but I am not sure if the battery tray will hold them. I have not heard of anyone switching the Drives back to 8 volt batts. Maybe smallblock will pitch in.
Why are you wanting to change them to 8 volts? |

The cost of the 12's and think that the 6 8's may give better service. Just asking, so you can be very candid with me if I am going in the wrong direction.
Thanks |

Smallblock would be the one I would ask. He has helped me in the past and he is very knowledgeable!
