Re: g9 camber correction
Pat, don't know which lift you used, but make sure your toe in is 1/8". This is what I used on the springs on mine. they are called "split shaft collers". You get them at a bearing, belt and chain supply. As in roller bearings for equipment and machinery. $4.00 each. They worked very well!

Re: g9 camber correction
Mike, looks like you're still carrying a lot of positive camber. Have you had it checked lately?

Re: g9 camber correction
Trk, are you talking about camber or toe-in? Got well over 1000 Mi. with this configuration. Handles very well at speed, and tire wear is good.

Re: g9 camber correction
I was talking about camber. It could be the way the pic was taken giving the allusion of the tire being out at the top-positive camber. Just looked odd to me, that's all. If your tires are wearing correctly and you like the way it handles, then it's the pic. Didn't mean to worry you!!

Re: g9 camber correction
Ya, it may have a degree or 2 of positive camber, but with 2 adults on it, they'er straight up. It handles so well since I shimmed the front shocks, no lean in high speed cornering, and very sure feel off road. So all is good!
Thanks Mike |
