1999 G16 won't go

I aquired a 1999 G16 with newer trojan batteries and cart ran good.Drove it about a mile and it quit.I suspected the solenoid. I did not have the correct one to change it so I but a 36 volt club car in and I have power to the controller but still no click.Anyone that could help would be appricated.

I have solenoid click,but when I jump the solenoid it will not go.
If it could be the controller how do ya test it.
