Default Installing Rear Flip Seat On 07 Drive (electric)

Wanting to install a rear flip flop seat on an 07 Yamaha Drive (electric) cart. My question is.....do I need to upgrade rear springs or shocks or will the stock components work just fine.

Thanks

Sorry for the late responce. Try it with out upgrading the shocks or adding spacers first. If it works for you stock, leave it that way. You will find the "front end" can be alittle "front lite" when fully loaded with passangers/cargo, most the weight is you/the batteries and the rear facing seat and passangers/cargo (mid of car and back). Had to put "tractor weights" in front of one car because it was hilly and they had the back end loaded up.

I have noticed some customer complain about the frt being lite with 2 adults riding on the rear seat. with kids it seems to be ok. For some reason the Yamaha Drive is very lite in the frt. I hope yamaha changes that in the future or they move the rear shocks/springs back a inch or two.

You can use your factory shocks just get HD springs or if you can find a set of shuttle rear shocks/springs they will work also.
