96 Yamaha G19E solenoid dont engage!! Need help!
Can someone tell me how the tow/run switch operates the solenoid? I have power going through the red/yellow wire to solenoid but it don't cross to the other side to activate it! Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: 96 Yamaha G19E solenoid dont engage!! Need help!
I took a G19 apart and put it all back to gather again, and it wouldn't run. First I had to make sure the battery pack had 48 volts, (something about needing 48 for the charger to recognize the battery pack. Then there is a 2 amp fuse somewhere around the controller area. I pulled it out and it tested good, put it back in and the car ran. That was a year ago. Just about a month ago, the same fuse blew, and had to replace the fuse. After that, it ran again just fine. Replaced it with a 5 amp this time.
Hope this helps |

Pin 11 on controller makes or breaks ground to turn soleniod on and off. Pos power comes red/white wire from foot swtich pedal.
The two/run swtichs makes or breaks red wire that feeds postive voltage to foot pedal, f&r switch, soleniod. If you have power on one side of small soleniod post (red/white wire) , when the controller turns on it provides the ground to soleniod by the red/black wire on other small soleniod post. |

Is there a reed switch on this cart? If so, how can it be tested or bypassed?
