Default BU - 36 volt charge indicator????

Ok I got this charge indicator from BU.

http://www.****************.com/prod...36V&cat=105202

Mounted it up on my G8 and nothing... it shows no charge (brand new batteries, new wiring, etc). Per the directions On the back of this is 4 posts. 1 is positive off of battery 1, 2 is neg off battery 2, post 3 is not used and 4 is positive off the switch.

So I direct wired it to the batteries (1 and 4 both to battery 1 pos) and 2 to neg on battery 2, nothing...

Anyone else have this? I got two of these and neither work.

Is this an LED indicator? If so I remember making a jumper wire between 1 and 4 and connecting this to the positive battery post which the charger inlet also connects to...and then the neg which also connects to the charger inlet connected to 2 . 3 was not used. Use your tester and find the only two posts which read 36+ volts. That is where this thing connects. It can be wired to the switch but is not needed as they draw a very very small amount of juice.

Send it back. Ask for a refund and buy a Curtis. That one looks like a cheap chinese curtis knockoff.
