G1 windshield, canopy and tire questions

Hi all!

I picked up a G1 at an estate auction for an embarrassingly low price and am in the process of doing the body work. The plan is to keep it simple; fix the cracks, paint it white, powder coat the wheels, new tires and maybe new seats (I'm thinking boat seats) and a new top if I can find one with handles that will work...


So, that said, I have anew questions:

Tires:
I have the stock 18x8.5x8 size tires and I want to know if I can get away with putting 18x9.5x8 tires on. There are so many cooler options,butI'd like to know if it's been done yet before buying them.

Canopy:
The canopy is in pretty bad shape. I'd rather find one off a newer cart that will fit with little hassle, preferably with handles. Any ideas?

Windshield:
This one boggles my mind. The windshield that is on it is not flat or split. It is a single piece, attaches to a round bar and the window curves around the edges several inches. I cannot find a single cart with this style windshield. The problem is that I snapped it taking it off and I like the look of it. Have you seen this windshield style for sale anywhere?



Looking forward to finishing it. I appreciate any help you might have to give.
