Rear end service
What type of maintainence should be done on the rear end. I have no clue if my cart has ever had any service work done on it. Does the oil in the rear need to be changed? If so what should I use?

Re: Rear end service
Hi Guy,
I know this reply is a month late but I just wanted to let you know that I completed the lube change on my cart today and it was a breeze. I used my standard automotive service ramps and backed the cart up onto them. (See pic below.) Then I used a 1/2" socket to remove all the differential cover bolts, dropped the cover, let it drain, visually inspected things, cleaned it all up, applied some RTV gasket stuff to the cover mating surface, buttoned it all up and added 300ml of 90w gear lube (as per the label on my diff cover). Hope this helps! |
