G14 no go problem, need help
 If my meter is not lying to me, I have continuity between all four post on the motor and the f/r switch. If I am correct, this is not right. Does anyone have any ideas on this situation. I have all the batteries out of the cart. It would not move forward or reverse, but the buzzer would ocme on in reverse. |

You should have continuity between A's and then seperately the S's but not between an A and an S together.

It has continuity between all posts on the motor and the f/r switch. My thought is that both are fried... does that seem correct. Thanks for the welcome.

i,m guessing but i would say there might be an open short in the field coil or brush holder..................................

Thanks for all the help. I think I will have the motor checked out. Maybe I can get it rebuilt. Does anyone have some used G14 parts available?? Controller, f/r switch, solenoid...

Had the motor checked, tested ok. The f/r switch is ok. Going to check the solenoid next....what else could this be??
